Chicken Lo Mein Recipe Easy

Ingredients

  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch ( dissolved in 1 tbsp water )
  • 3 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1 tbsp ginger
  • 2 tsp garlic (minced)
  • 1 lb chicken breast (sliced thinly)
  • 1 lb fresh lo mein noodles (pre-cook al dente)
  • 3 bunches bokchoy (bottoms cut)
  • 2 stalks green onions, cut long (1/2 inch)

Instructions

  • Combine oyster sauce, sesame oil, soy sauce, chicken stock and slurry (dissolved cornstarch) in a mixing bowl. Set aside for later 
  • Heat a pan to high and add cooking oil
  • Sauté minced garlic and ginger for at least 30 seconds 
  • Add sliced chicken breast and cook until medium brown or about 2 minutes 
  • Stir in the pre-cooked lo mein noodles, separate then add bokchoy and cook for about 2 minutes or until tender.
  • Lower heat to low to medium. Pour the prepared sauce. Simmer until sauce thickens or your desired consistency.
  • Top with the green onion, mix and turn off the stove.
  • Transfer to a serving bowl and enjoy!
